Ok, so probably not a solution… maybe more of a warning. We’re on a path with AI and it’s a bit scary to follow to the logical outcome. I think there was a movie about this once that didn’t end well.
Follow up from last week.
I’m still done with Meta (Instagram and Facebook) although I haven’t had a chance to delete my posts on there yet… it’s been a busy week. So if you follow me on Instagram or you’re one of the few actual humans that follow me on Facebook, this newsletter (and my other one) along with X/Twitter are the best places to find me online now. I also signed up with a new platform called Cara so if you’re dying for more social medias in your life, check them out. It’s more artist focused, so to be honest, I’m not so sure how useful it’ll be. It’s fun to browse around on there and look at all the cool art, though.
In regard to Adobe and their nonsense, I decided to go back to Procreate for this week’s comic. I’m not sure if you notice any difference, but after using Fresco for a couple months, one thing that stands out is that I do prefer the actual drawing experience in Procreate. There are still a few features in Fresco that I really love, so I’ve decided to use both for now (for different use cases). We’ll see how things progress.
If you’re reading this and still haven’t checked out my other newsletter called Political Nomad, I would be eternally grateful if you took a couple minutes to give it a look. I realize that a political cartoon might not be everyone’s cup of tea, so no worries if you’re not into that kind of thing, but I’ll be pushing it on here nonetheless. So hopefully it doesn’t get too annoying.
Anyway, thanks for reading and I hope you have a great week!
