Busy week, so here's a drawing of Wolverine

This week has been busy and then I got sick, so this will be a short one.

Since the movie came out this past weekend, I figured I’d draw some fan art of most people’s favorite mutant…

Personally, I’ve always liked him best when he was drawn as a weird, short, hairy guy in the comics. Frank Miller and Sam Keith always had great versions of him. I like Jim Lee and all those guys that drew him in the 90s, but let’s be honest… it was a time of artists drawing one really cool character that they swapped out a hairstyle and a costume and claimed they were different.

But at the very least, Jim Lee would make him hairy.

No offense to Hugh Jackman, but he’s always been too tall and too hairless to feel like the right fit for Wolverine. You’d think, with all the CGI they can do now, they would at least make him super hairy.

I guess that’s too much to ask.
