This is why dogs probably shouldn’t design a service. Or, at the very least, shouldn’t be in charge of the marketing. Ollie is a lot of fun to write. He’s based on my dog, Oliver, so most of the time I just take his personality and think about what he would say if he could talk.
The Atlantean update…
It’s been a few weeks since I gave an update on the progress of The Atlantean. As usual, life does it’s best to get in the way, but I’ve been making pretty good progress. I mentioned before that the script is written, made some edits based on feedback from my unofficial editor (my bro Dave), and I’ve laid out the entire book from a page design/rough lettering standpoint to make sure the pacing works. So now the art is underway. I wanted to share more of a look into my process, here are some penciled pages. I don’t go into crazy amounts of detail at this point (unless there are details I want to make sure I test out). Here you go…
